Hey guys! My name is Cait- if you haven’t gathered that already. I love Jesus, coffee, naps, and books- and this year I am working with the ELCA in Winchester, England!

More about me… (this really feels like syllabus week in college where you have to introduce yourself to the class… cringe). This past year, I taught in a library in North Carolina, and I loved every minute of being with those sweet kiddos! However, I knew that I needed a change. With my whole life being uprooted a couple of months beforehand (more on that later), I applied to this crazy program called YAGM, and the rest is history!

While I am in Winchester, I’ll be working with the Chaplain at an all girls boarding school. My job will be to help plan the chapel services, and most importantly be there for the girls and show God’s love to them. I am so excited- if I could have dreamt up a school to work at, it would definitely be the one where I am placed. My prayer is that I can make a positive impact and love on these girls as much as possible during my service year.
